The MTH Underlayment Screw is engineered for quick, secure fastening of underlayment to subfloors. Unlike traditional nails, it features a sophisticated high-low thread design that minimizes floor squeaks by firmly anchoring plywood to the subfloor, significantly reducing the risk of movement or withdrawal.
Its compact, countersunk trim-head ensures a flush finish, eliminating the risk of floor coverings settling into recesses. CE certified to EN 14592, the MTH screw delivers consistent performance in structural wood-to-wood applications.

MTHZ19E 19mm collated flooring screw.
Using fasteners longer than necessary can lead to screws protruding through the underside of floorboards. This has the potential to cause all sorts of problems including damaging water pipes, cables and underfloor heating. The 19mm flooring screw is a safer way to fix 6mm plywood whilst providing superior holding power that only a screw can provide, and eliminating floor squeaks, floor lift and withdrawal that can occur when using nails. With 50 screws per strip there is less time reloading and significantly reducing installation times. The collation design means that there are no missed screws and no waste.
This screw has a different collation to the other MTH screws and so requires a different Quik Drive attachment – QDBPC19EF
